Did the star mother try to kill her? Secrets of the past of the most powerful woman in Russia

Over the years of powerlifting, Oksana Kosheleva set many records – and she herself broke them. She pulled a tram along the tracks, pulled a KAMAZ, a carriage with passengers and a Mi-8 helicopter, held two motorcycles jerking sideways with her hands – no woman in the world performed such a trick. The strong woman’s plans are to move the ship from its place.

In 2017, a viral video went viral on the web, in which Oksana twists a reckless driver who was driving in the parking lot of a shopping center, packs it into the trunk of a car and makes several circles with her unusual cargo. The girl had to explain herself to the police, but the man said he had no claims against Rock. However, it soon became clear why: both participants in the incident stated that they were only making a social video about the irresponsible behavior of street racers.

Oksana uses her power in everyday life only for peaceful purposes. When she lived in St. Petersburg, she pushed out stuck cars during snowfalls, and in the summer of 2020 in Ruza, she helped clear the debris caused by the breach of the dam: she lifted trees, moved concrete blocks.

Oksana knows how to look different: she can appear in an elegant dress, heels and make-up, but she does not see a problem in a tracksuit and a “naked face”. She even somehow wanted to appear in front of the audience in a tank top and short shorts, but this idea had to be abandoned: when the girl was rehearsing a number with motorcycles, pieces of hot rubber that came off the wheels burned her legs.

Friends say that despite the image of the “iron lady”, the girl’s hobbies are quite girlish. “She can embroider and knit skillfully, she likes to cook. You will know how it tastes! She is a real girl. Only outwardly so strong, but inside – fluffy, “says Skal’s friend, Russian bodybuilding champion Svetlana Sapunova.

In 2017, Oksana entered the graduate school of the Belarusian State University at the suggestion of Alexander Dykhanov, the head coach of the Russian national powerlifting team. “He asked us: “Why are you all sitting here? Go for it. I’m also studying, so what if grandfather.” The coach said, well, we went, “says the girl. Now Oksana lives in Moscow and works as a coach.

Kosheleva regularly flashes on the pages of magazines and on television screens. In the spring of 2018, she was invited to Fashion Sentence, and in the fall of 2020, Komsomolskaya Pravda announced the casting for Skala’s husband: she invited all applicants to send their resumes to the editor. However, the program “Let them talk” attracted the most attention, where Kosheleva talked about her family. It turns out that the girl was almost killed by her own mother as a child – right after she shot a man.

Oksana grew up in an orphanage, at the age of eight she was adopted by a teacher of Russian language and literature, Galina Ivanovna Kosheleva, and gave the girl her last name. “I still remember the first time I came home. Grandma Maria Tikhonovna sat me down at the table: cabbage, potatoes with steak, fresh buns. I ate non-stop because I was always hungry, and in the orphanage I even stole sweets from New Year’s gifts, “the girl later recalled.

Life in the village was not easy, and Oksana helped her mother as much as she could: she chopped wood, carried water from the well, and dug the garden. Galina worked in two shifts: she left at seven in the morning and returned at 11 in the evening. The girl remembers that the woman was stingy with love and affection and lacked attention and warmth. Because of this, Oksana rebelled: she got involved with the wrong company, began to study harder and even fell in love with an adult man who was 38 years old – 24 years older than the girl herself.

Despite the late age of adoption, Galina managed to convince Oksana that she was her own daughter. The woman redid all the child’s documents and even put a photo in the house of her standing with the child in her arms. Until the age of 13, the girl believed that she had a mother, uncle, grandparents who died in the war. But somehow one of the neighbors decided that Oksana was not indigenous, and the girl’s world turned upside down. Oksana’s behavior worsened.

And then Galina had a microstroke: the woman felt worse and worse. Her friends convinced her that the teenager should return to the orphanage, because the sick Galina would not be able to cope with her. When Oksana was 15 years old, the adoptive mother gave up and wrote the rejection of the child. “I was offended and indignant at the whole world,” admits Kosheleva, “and when I returned to the state walls, I began to deliberately destroy myself. Everything was there: promiscuity, cigarettes and alcohol, drugs, a psychiatric hospital…”

After returning to the orphanage, Oksana somehow helped the teacher sort the documents. And then suddenly the woman threw her a folder with a personal file: “Look what you got out of it…”

From the documents, the girl found out who her parents were. It turned out that Oksana’s father Yuri Perfilyev killed a man: a drunk fell into the house, the head of the family grabbed a pistol and fired. Realizing that the wound was not fatal, he handed the weapon to his wife and ordered: finish it! She listened. To cover up the murder, the couple set fire to the house.

Oksana’s parents took Oksana with them on a boat, on which they crossed the Lena while escaping, and in the middle of the river, the mother threw the girl into the water. Miraculously, she was caught by fishermen – so Oksana ended up in an orphanage. The child’s parents went to prison: each received nine years in prison. According to the records, Oksana was then two and a half years old.

After the orphanage, Oksana did not return to Galina – she stopped communicating with her. She had no place to live and rented a room in an apartment from a couple of alcoholics – a husband and wife. They regularly took the girl’s food out of the fridge and somehow she woke up to the owner of the house pulling the blanket off her. Oksana called her foster parents in desperation.

“She immediately said: “Come!” At home, we talked all night, cried, asked each other for forgiveness. Then I told my mother for the first time that I love her, “recalls Kosheleva. After meeting with Galina, relations improved: for the girl again became the nearest and dearest person.

And then a bright streak began: Kosheleva became interested in powerlifting and became not only a titled athlete, but one of the most powerful women in Russia, whose records were enthusiastically told by journalists and TV people. Once in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, the girl mentioned that she would like to find relatives – and soon a letter to the editor came. In 2018, Oksana met relatives in the “Let them talk” program.

There were more versions on the show about how Oksana ended up in the orphanage. The neighbor said that the murder really happened, only Yuri, who ran away, committed it. Oksana’s mother was arrested and taken to the ship with her daughter and tried to throw the girl into the water, but one of the passengers prevented her from doing so.

Oksana’s mother, Nadezhda Perfilyeva, described her version of events. According to her, an armed man broke into the house: he demanded vodka, overturned the stroller with the girl… Then he put down the gun and rushed at Nadezhda’s husband, who was sleeping on the bed, with a knife. The woman grabbed a foreign barrel and fired at the attacker.

After that, she immediately ran to the head of the village, who lived next door, and confessed: “Uncle Volodya, I killed a man!” She did not try to leave on any ship, there was no ship either: she sat with the girl in her arms in the house for three days, until he sent a helicopter for her. The child, Perfilyeva says, stayed with her mother-in-law.

Older sister Olga recalls: when my mother was imprisoned, she was two years old and Oksana was a few months old. So if the episode with the river still happened, then the mother threw not only a small child, but also a baby.

Who or what should be believed – Nadezhda’s stories or materials from the criminal case that Oksana saw – still remains unclear: during the transfer it was impossible to find out everything.

After the show, Oksana maintains relations only with her older sister Olga: they call each other regularly, and Kosheleva helps a relative who is raising three grandchildren after her daughter was deprived of parental rights. “Olya asked me to help the children get dressed and pick up a little for school. I helped. Nevertheless, we are related,” says Skála.

Mother and younger sisters Galya and Julia do not want to communicate with Oksana: Kosheleva says that they do not answer her calls. “After all, when they arrived, they thought I was a famous athlete and would rush to help them all. My dead brother’s ex-wife was there too. He also has children. She also asked me to buy them smartphones and a computer. But I don’t have such options,” the athlete complains.

Oksana Kosheleva is glad that she found her relatives and fulfilled the desire that tormented her since she got acquainted with the documents in the orphanage. But she admits: it’s good that she didn’t stay in the Perfilyev family. “It changed my destiny, it saved me. I would be right where everyone is. In the wrong environment, people like me perform at their worst. But my foster mother changed my life. I was led away from the bad, “says the athlete.
