
Vladimir Kuznetsov recently experienced serious health problems. His life was cut short in Botkin Hospital. The artist’s death was reported at the Lenkom Theater.
“In the 80th year, Vladimir Alekseevich Kuznetsov died, who served in Lenkom for 45 years – from 1969 to 2014, where he came immediately after graduating from the Moscow Art Theater School. The bright, charismatic actor was remembered by the audience for many, and not only the main, roles in the cinema and, of course, on the Lenkom stage. Farewell to Vladimir Alekseevich will take place on May 16 at 12:00 in the funeral hall of the Botkin hospital (2. Botkinskij proezd, 5, building 33),” the theater explained.

Vladimir Kuznetsov was born on October 3, 1943 in the city of Troitsk in the Chelyabinsk region. In 1969, he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School and was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Lenin Komsomol Theater (now the Lenkom Theater), where he worked until 2014. Since 2005, he has been cooperating with the Theater of Music and Poetry directed by Elena Kamburová.
Theatergoers know the actor well from his participation in Joaquin Murieta’s Star and Death, Till, Hamlet, Optimistic Tragedy, Royal Games and others. Kuznetsov was remembered by the audience for his roles in the films and TV series “Battle of Moscow”, “Juno and Avos”, “Silent Investigation”, “In Surfing”, “Two Sisters-2”, “Doctor Tyrsa”.

Last week, the actor of the films “12 Chairs” and “Promised Heaven” Oleg Sevastyanov died. He was 74 years old. In recent years he lived in Estonia.
