The director began his career with clips. He collaborated with the groups “Mumiy Troll”, “Moral Code” and “White Eagle”. Khleborodov shot Dolphins for Mumiy Troll and Pink Flamingo for Alena Sviridova. Mikhail also collaborated with Laima Vaikule, Bogdan Titomir, Dmitry Malikov and many others.

Khleborodov worked with Channel One. He filmed screen savers for the Vremja program and was the author of the I Love You project.
Nine years ago, the director became one of the founders of the Magic Factory film company. The company released the series “Temporarily unavailable”, in which Sergey Bezrukov and Dmitry Dyuzhev played the main roles. Another popular work of the director was the film about special forces “Paragraph 78” with Gosha Kutsenko and Vladimir Vdovichenkov.
