Phone fraudsters lured a million rubles from the former mentor of the Voice 60+ program Stas Namin 03.05.2023, 18:10

An employee of his theater, deputy artistic director Anna Isaeva, told about the problems of the 71-year-old musician. Namin’s assistant went to the police station with a statement on behalf of the artist.

It turns out that the incident happened two weeks ago. The leader of the rock band “Flowers” was called by an unknown number on WhatsApp. The partner convinced Stas to place a large amount of money in several accounts. According to Isaev, the artist transferred a million rubles to fraudsters.

“I don’t know exactly how he was cheated. But most likely, like everyone is kept on the phone. Even very smart people can be educated. Stas transferred these fraudsters somewhere around a million rubles. I wrote the application because Stas will be in the city until May 6 and I have a power of attorney from him, “said Anna, according to Regnum.

Law enforcement authorities are investigating the fact of the incident with the former mentor of the Hlas 60+ show. Investigators have sent inquiries to the banks where the fraudsters’ accounts are located.

Lera Kudryavtseva found herself in a similar situation. The TV presenter received a phone call accusing her of committing treason. The star of the NTV channel quickly found out about the fraudster from Ukraine.

Last year, the host of the talk show “The Stars Aligned” still fell for the bait of scammers. Lera received WhatsApp messages on behalf of an American friend and transferred 180 thousand rubles without hesitation. Later, Kudryavtseva found out that the girl did not have her number.

Namin admitted some time ago that he was one step away from meeting Monica Bellucci. The musician was offered a role in the film, where the star was involved. But the meeting did not take place due to the fact that Stas was embarrassed and failed the casting.
