‘Can’t Be Around!’ Stars: 5 Stars Who Don’t Like George Clooney

Russell Crowe

The actor once said some unpleasant things about Clooney and other colleagues: “I don’t advertise suits in Spain, like George Clooney, or cigarettes in Japan, like Harrison Ford. And recently Robert de Niro advertised for American Express. It’s not the first time he’s let me down.’

After Crowe accused the actors of selling their souls for money, Clooney said Russell wanted to apologize for his words and even extended a virtual olive branch as a sign of truce: “He sent me a CD of his music and a book of poetry. . And I thought he would just say, they say, I was wrong, and I’ll answer: yes, yes, it doesn’t matter. But he thinks he’s Frank Sinatra!”

Leonardo DiCaprio

This is not to say that the actors couldn’t stand each other, but the cat clearly ran between them. In 2013, Clooney recalled playing basketball with Leonard and some friends. It turns out that DiCaprio’s team wasn’t as good as he claimed: “The difference between their acting and talking about it reminded me how important it is to have someone around you who honestly says what’s what.” I’m not sure Leo has that kind of person.” He then had to explain that he only meant basketball and not his colleague’s real life.

When DiCaprio asked him about the people around him, he quickly replied, “They’re all wonderful people. Among them are actors and those with whom I went to school. And also Kevin Connolly and Tobey Maguire.” Protect yourself and your friends!

Sandra Bullock

It wasn’t a fight, but more of a cute episode, but it still deserves a mention. At the premiere of Gravity in 2013 at the Toronto Film Festival, Sandra said her son Lewis was crazy about her co-star and longtime boyfriend George Clooney: “My son thinks he’s a tough guy… If he had to choose between me and George, he would probably leave me for Clooney… He likes to talk to men.” Clooney confirmed that Sandra and her son had come to visit him on Lake Como.

But there was a problem with this male friendship. In Gravity, Clooney’s character didn’t take too well to Sandra’s character, and Lewis was very upset that George didn’t help her. He even blamed Clooney for not changing the script!

Ryan Gosling

While filming The Ides of March, directed by Clooney, Gosling allowed himself a few remarks about Clooney. According to rumors, he did not want to breathe the same air with the actor! He didn’t like Clooney constantly talking about his life and didn’t want to be friends with him.

In 2011, Ryan explained why: “He’s hard to be around because he’s so sweet, charming, smart, funny… It’s depressing.”

Clooney liked to play pranks on his colleagues. Once, he imperceptibly soaked Gosling’s pants with water, and when he stood up, he noticed that all of his legs were wet. But Ryan forgave him everything: “He’s good at everything and it’s impossible to make him angry.”

Saoirse Ronan

In 2018, the actress recalled the situation at the Oscars in 2008. Her mother got into a weird situation with Clooney and that’s all Saoirse remembered about that night.

The actress was nominated for Best Supporting Actress and gave interviews on the red carpet as her mother tried to avoid the movie superstars passing by. And then Clooney stepped on the hem of her dress! Seeing this, she tried to get his attention. But he went on without noticing anything.

Saoirse recalled: “She came up to me and said I’ll never believe what happened to her.” Of course, you can only be proud that Clooney himself stepped on your dress!

By the way, the actor soon called Saoirse and apologized to her mother. A gentleman is always a gentleman.
