Until her death in 2020, Canadian broadcaster Teresa Tangue-Dion lived in a 1,500 square meter house. It is located on the Mille Île River in the Saint-Rose district of Laval, about 30 km northeast of Montreal. Now Celine Dion is selling a 16-room mansion for 2.4 million Canadian dollars (150 million rubles).
Realtor Christine Giguere of the Re/Max Platine agency in La Prairie, a suburb of Montreal, is assisting the artist with the sale. Dion is listed as the owner of the home on city of Laval tax records.

Built in 2002, the home has 87 feet of frontage on the Mille Île River, which flows through the region for 26 miles. The two-story home, according to the listing, includes a sunroom with breathtaking views, plus gas fireplaces, a tailor’s shop, a workshop and two offices.

Photos of the house show a stone facade with a large attached garage, also faced with stone. The glazed solarium overlooks the river. It adjoins a spacious kitchen with built-in wood panelling, a large island and a dining area. The great room includes a living and dining area, while the downstairs office has wide bay windows. The master bathroom is completely white.

A riverfront estate is significantly more expensive than most homes in the area. The median price of houses in close proximity to St. Rose was CAD$559,850 in the fourth quarter of 2022, up 6% year over year. The total cost of housing in the Greater Montreal area was C$544,300 in the fourth quarter of last year.
In 2016, Dion sold her chateau-style residence on a nearby private island in Laval for C$25.5 million. The following year, she also sold her vacation home on Florida’s Jupiter Island for $38.5 million, according to Mansion global.
