While playing Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, Kit Harington was not allowed to cut his hair, because his character has long curly hair, which became a characteristic detail of the image. The actor couldn’t wait for the end of the work on the series to get rid of the annoying curls.
“I would like to step aside and enjoy the unknown, cut my hair, become less recognizable as a character and do other things with a completely new image,” he said.

The actor rightly believed that he could no longer look like Jon Snow in his next role – so he would not get rid of his tired role.

“I can’t go on to another role and look the same. This role was great, but I need to get rid of Jon Snow,” shared Kit.
And so it happened – the first thing after filming was completed, Harington cut his curls and shaved his beard to participate in the stage production of Sam Shepard’s “The True West”. The transformation was just right – Keith was barely recognizable.

By the way, he is not the first one who dreamed of changing his hairstyle after a long filming. Emma Watson, who played Hermione in the Harry Potter saga from the age of 10 to 19 and was also not allowed to cut her hair, radically changed her image after finishing and got a super short haircut.
