Irina was born in a small mining town in the Chelyabinsk region. After finishing school, she moved to Chelyabinsk to study marketing at an economic college, where she was noticed by representatives of a local modeling agency. Irina became interested in modeling and decided to participate in the Chelyabinsk beauty contest, where she became the winner, after which she received an offer to become a professional model.

2007 was a really successful year for Irina – it was then that her successful international career began. Shayk became the face of the lingerie brand Intimissimi and also starred in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. By the way, she was the first Russian model on the cover of the publication.

In 2010, Irina was already closely watched all over the world. And the reason was not only her professional success. It is in this year that the model begins to meet the most popular football player in the world – Cristiano Ronaldo. The relationship will last five years.

Immediately after breaking up with Cristian, a new love entered Irina’s life – Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper, to whom she gave birth to a daughter, Leia, in 2017. Although Irina and Bradley broke up in 2019, they continue to communicate closely and often spend time together.

What kind of relationship connected the rapper and the model is still unclear. In 2021, they were seen together several times, Irina flew to France with Kanye, and long before that, West mentioned Shayk in his song and she starred in one of his videos. The stars did not comment on the rumors about the novel, but their relationship is clearly warm – Irina and Kanye somehow met behind the scenes of the show and hugged tenderly.

Irina started out as a lingerie model, but over the years in the industry she has proven that she is capable of working in the world of high fashion. Today, Shayk is often invited to shows as part of the Paris couture week, famous designers such as Ricardo Tisci or Donatella Versace consider her to be her muse.
