The father of one of Russia’s best young hockey players has disappeared in Sochi. On Sunday evening, Andrei Vyacheslavovich and his family watched the match between SKA and CSKA. Before the start of overtime, his wife Maria and their son Prokhor went to the supermarket. A few minutes later Michkov the elder followed them. “I’ll be back soon,” he told Matthew. However, they did not meet the Michkovs on the way to the store, 20 minutes after leaving the house he received a phone call, but the subscriber was already out of reach.

“Before his disappearance, there were no scandals and quarrels. Michkov Sr. did not get sick with anything and did not abuse alcohol, ”the Mash Telegram channel reported.

He thus surpassed the success of Alexander Ovechkin, who scored for the first time in matches for the national team at the age of 17 years and 355 days. Michkov transferred to Sochi from SKA on loan during the current season. For the southern city team, he played 27 games in the KHL, in which he scored 20 points (9 goals + 11 assists). Sochi finished last in the Western Conference table after regular season results and did not qualify for the playoffs. Matvey is one of the best picks for the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
