Alexey Levin, a 44-year-old confectioner, chef and co-founder of the Syrovarnya restaurant chain, was driving with his family in a foreign car. Levin’s 13-year-old nephew was also in the SUV’s cabin. The boy was taken to the intensive care unit in critical condition, doctors are fighting for his life.

Alexey led a chain of restaurants that has more than a dozen establishments in Moscow and other cities of Russia and beyond. At the very beginning of his career, the man was trained in a French school, where he gained valuable experience and learned hard discipline. He has been in gastronomy for over 20 years.

Levin graduated from a culinary school after the 9th grade, worked in the FSB canteen, after the war he got a job at the restaurant Andrei Dellos Le Duc, where he made a career from assistant cook to pastry chef. shop. He then became the pastry chef of the Ju-Ju restaurant and then went to the Cheese Factory.

According to Aleksey, he never faced difficulties in this profession, because he loved his work without limits and came to it like a vacation, trying something new every day and creating sweet masterpieces. Alexey admitted that he became a confectioner because since childhood he loved everything sweet, he especially liked desserts from the Soviet past – Prague and Leningrad cakes. Of the products, he liked working with chocolate the most. Alexey and his wife Svetlana are survived by two children. They were not in the car at the time of the accident.
