The main actor of the movie “Shield and Sword” is going to celebrate his 90th birthday on April 6. At his venerable age, Stanislav Andreevich continues to lead an active lifestyle. He is a member of the ensemble of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater and plays on stage in performances. The artistic director decided to encourage the actors at the first theater awards ceremony in the field of arts.

Konstantin Khabensky noted that the award is aimed at supporting and popularizing cultural figures under the age of 35 who have clearly declared themselves in the past year. It is awarded in eight categories.

“I am offended that the Moscow Art Theater did not enter any category,” admitted Khabensky. – However, we have a great desire for the first prize of the new award to be received by an actor of the Moscow Art Theater. We made the ninth nomination, it is ageless. We called this nomination “no comment”… I met this actor the other day in our buffet between rehearsals. And he asked: “Will you come to the prize?” He replied that he would try. I asked him to come because we are rewarding. He said: “I will not say anything from the stage, but I will read Shukshin.” I asked, “No, with all due respect to you and Vasily Makarovich. I’ll give you two minutes at most.”

Stanislav Lyubshin quickly got up on the stage. He received a prize – a copy of the high relief “The Swimmer” by the sculptor Anna Golubkina. The full-size composition adorns the main entrance to the theater.

“These people who came up with the prize need something new, and not to call us somewhere ahead, far away, as Vasily Makarovich said. All this is wonderful, and such things should be welcomed, rejoiced in and even washed away, ”said Lyubshin with humor.

The triumph of the Russian People’s Artist was shared by the second wife of Irina Korneeva. The journalist is 40 years younger than the actor. They met in Poland, where the affair broke out. The couple has been together for 28 years. Irina proved that she sincerely fell in love with Stanislav Andreevich. When the actor suffered a stroke in 2006, his wife took care of him and was able to help him get back on his feet.

Korneeva sat next to her husband at the event. Lyubshin often got up to hug famous directors. He spoke especially tenderly to Elena Panová. The honored artist of Russia is busy with many performances of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater. The star of the series “Cipher” and “Shuttle” wished that the master went on stage more often.

The event was also attended by the most closed pair of Russian cinema – Danila Kozlovskij and Oksana Akinshina. The actors recently returned from the US. They flew there for the birthday of Oda-Valentina – the daughter of Olga Zueva and the main actor in the film “Legend No. 17” turned three years old. Danila surprised theater friends – the artist grew a mustache.
