Chulpan Khamatova's brother was expelled from the troupe of the Sovremennik theater after his departure to Latvia

Recently, it became known that the brother of the People’s Artist of Russia will appear on the stage in Riga in the production “How we buried Joseph Vissarionovich”. Other Russian emigrants will also appear in the show: Anton Dolin* and Anna Mongait* recognized as foreign agents, as well as Alexander Filippenko, who repeatedly evaluated the special operation negatively. Today was a test in the Jewish community in Riga.

Previously, Sovremennik claimed that Shamil did not participate in the productions for the reason that he was not in Russia. Now the director of the theater expressed himself differently.

Shamil Khamatov was expelled from the theater

“Currently, Shamil Nailievich Chamatov is not a member of the ensemble of the Moscow Sovremennik Theater, there are no labor relations with him. Due to the absence of labor relations, he does not receive a salary,” REGNUM quotes director Yuri Kravets.
