The athlete underwent two operations – his legs and several fingers were amputated. Ilya Averbukh said that the condition of Tatyana Navka’s ex-partner has changed.

“At the moment, there is a slight improvement in Roman Kostomarov’s condition,” said the Ice Age choreographer. – We keep our fists, we pray and we believe that the Roma will be better. I would like to say a few words about Oksana Domnina and Roma’s mother. Many trials fell on their shoulders. The way they behave, support the Roma, they deserve respect.”

Averbukh travels with his project through the cities of Russia. On the eve of the ice stars, they visited St. Petersburg. As in previous parades in other cities, special boxes were installed in the Jubilee sports complex, thanks to which everyone could send letters to Kostomarov with words of support.

“Now this tragedy is happening, in which Rom is fighting and his whole family is fighting,” Ilja said. “We support them in this fight against diseases. It is very difficult and difficult, but only by supporting each other we get through this difficult phase of our life. That’s why the tour is held in support of Romano. I want to emphasize that this is not a collection, not financial support, not organizing a fund or offering people to carry money. This is our family ice story. We ourselves will fight, fight and win.”

The producer assured that moral support is now very important for Roman. The 46-year-old figure skater started writing letters to soldiers participating in a special operation in Ukraine. Many fighters were injured, losing limbs. They support athletes.
