Spoiler: One beauty queen now works in a travel agency!
Oksana Fedorova, 45 years old
In 2002, she won the Miss Universe competition

The life of police captain Oksana Fedorova changed dramatically when she first became the main beauty of Russia, and then took the crown at the Miss Universe pageant. She was 24 years old at the time. By the way, not a single representative of our country managed to repeat the success. True, Oksana eventually lost the title because she refused to fulfill the contract with the organizers. Fedorova herself explained it by saying that she needed to defend her dissertation and she simply did not have time to travel around the world.

If it didn’t work out with an international career, then Oksana got used to the world of Russian show business: she started working as a TV presenter, starred in videos, worked as a model and even published a book.
Today, Fedorová devotes herself to charity work, attends social events and devotes time to her family. In 2011, she married FSB officer Andrei Borodin and gave birth to two children in marriage: son Fedor and daughter Elizaveta.

Yulia Kurochkina, 48 years old
In 1992, she won the Miss World contest

Julia Kurochkina became the first Russian woman to take the crown at the Miss World pageant. She was only 18 years old. There were no qualifying competitions in Russia at that time, so she entered the international competition directly – the organizers noticed a spectacular model at one of the shows of the fur brand in Moscow and offered to participate.
Kurochkina did not have high hopes of winning, but it was a good chance to develop a modeling career, so Julia agreed, although the responsibility fell a lot on her shoulders – after all, the first participant from Russia.

The whole world gathered a girl for the competition – her family didn’t live well and she had to borrow a dress for the competition from a friend, but her mother had already hemmed and decorated it. Nevertheless, the debutant was able to captivate and charm all the judges – she was the one who won the crown. Kurochkina continued to work as a model for some time, but then she decided to leave show business. Kurochkina returned to live in her native Shcherbinka near Moscow, stopped communicating with the press, got married, had a daughter and now works as the director of her own travel agency.
Ksenia Sukhinova, 35 years old
In 2008, she won the Miss World competition

The Russians could not repeat Kurochkinova’s success at the competition for a long time – in the end, only Ksenia Suchinova succeeded, who won the 58th international beauty contest in Johannesburg. This time, the Russian contestant was properly prepared – she received the crown in a luxurious blue dress by Valentin Yudashkin. Before going to the World Cup, Ksenia won the Miss Russia national competition in 2007.

After the Miss World contest, Sukhinova actively engaged in her representative functions: she hosted charity events and became the face of the Eurovision music contest, which was held in Moscow in 2009.
Sukhinova also continued to work as a model with the Yudashkin brand and starred in Dim Bilan’s videos for the songs Hold and Don’t Cry Girl.

The personal life of the spectacular blonde has always been a reason for gossip, as her beau reluctantly commented. She was not officially married, but her novels stirred up gossip. For seven years, she dated billionaire and “sausage king” Sergey Govjadin, who built a luxurious mansion for her, but did not call her down the aisle. They broke up in 2015, and since then nothing was known about Xenia’s chosen ones, until in 2021 rumors spread about her affair with another rich businessman and vodka tycoon Yuri Shefler. In the summer of 2022, it was revealed that Sukhinova had given birth to her first child, presumably with Shefler, but she did not officially comment on it.
