Willis was last seen in public in late January, when he also met up with friends in Los Angeles. It happened just a few weeks before his disappointing diagnosis was made public.
Dementia is an acquired dementia, a persistent decline in cognitive activity with loss to some extent of previously acquired knowledge and practical skills. The disease affects areas of the brain behind the forehead that are responsible for behavior, problem solving, planning and emotions. Symptoms include personality changes, compulsive behavior, and difficulty speaking.
Bruce has three daughters from his marriage to Demi Moore – 34-year-old Rumer, 31-year-old Scout and 28-year-old Tallulah. After the divorce, the actors maintained friendly relations and are engaged in the joint education of their daughters.
