The heroine of the series successfully transplanted a kidney to Misha’s mother (Grigory Chaban), a former neighbor on dialysis, in Croatia. The new kidney took root well, but it had a side effect: obsessive visions and an irresistible passion for Misha appeared. Natasha decides to return to Russia and save him. However, it turns out that Míša is married and does not want to save herself at all. He intends to wait until his turn for a donor kidney. Míša is the 71st on the waiting list for a transplant, so Kustová has a plan: she needs to help another 70 patients so that her loved one’s operation can take place legally.
If in the first season the heroine Lyubov Aksenova learned to empathize with people, then in the second, according to the creators, “Natasha learns to love”: she will have to learn how to build healthy human relationships. The central issue of the film is the strict laws in the field of organ transplants, because of which thousands of people are desperately waiting for a miracle.

“Natasha is a kind of social magician,” Ljubov Aksenová explained. – Her wishes and goals to achieve are only a matter of time. In the second season, Natasha struggles with the fact that whoever does not fall under her spell becomes the desired one. As a result, Natasha tries so hard that she starts doing unexpected things for herself that will dramatically change her life.
The screenwriter and director of “kidneys” Maria Shulgina admitted that filming the second season was much more difficult for her than the first. At the same time, she assured that she made this film sincerely, passionately and with love. “Natasha is overcome this time by a new disease – love. Natasha, as always, does not spare anyone on the road to recovery, ”said Shulgina.
The second season of “Kidney” will be shown on KION Online Cinema on March 8.
