Grigory Leps removed from US sanctions list

The performer of the hit “A glass of vodka on the table” was included in the list of the US Department of the Treasury already in 2013. This was due to his alleged connection with the Eastern European criminal group “Brotherly Circle”. The American department believed that the singer helped the attackers transfer money abroad.

After that, the artist was banned from entering the States, and in addition, all his property in the country was confiscated. Leps representatives denied all the accusations. The musician himself stated that he had nothing to lose, as he had never owned property in the United States.

Now the ministry has removed Gregory from the sanctions list. In addition to him, Vladislav Leontiev and Igor Shlykov, law enforcement agencies from the republics of the former USSR, were also removed from the register.

Leps became the highest paid artist in Russia. The musician divorced his wife Anna, to whom he was married for 20 years. Recently, Gregory hinted that he has a new lover.
