The image of the “blonde in law” was complemented by black stiletto sandals, laconic earrings and a massive bracelet. Ashton looked casual in a denim shirt and loose suit. He showed up with two-day-old stubble and didn’t even bother to smile for the camera.
Users immediately scathingly noted that these shots indicated the kind of chemistry the actors experienced with each other in the new romantic comedy. During the Chicks In The Office podcast, the actor revealed why he was so formal at the photo shoot with Witherspoon. “Here’s the thing: if I hugged her and was friendly with her, everyone would think we were having an affair. I thought that if I stood next to her and put my hands in my pockets, there would be no chance of rumours, even though there was talk afterwards that we didn’t like each other, “said the actor.
