“I’ve never seen this anywhere”: Daria Pynzar spoke about the situation in Turkey after the earthquake 08.02.2023, 09:25

The TV star has been living in Alanya with her husband Sergej and sons for several years. After the terrible earthquake in Turkey, which claimed thousands of lives, the couple decided to help the sufferers. They collected warm clothes for children, women and men, bought medicine and canned goods.

Pynzar got in touch with fans by recording a video message. She admitted that the Turks surprised her a lot. “The residents of Alanya are lucky that the city is in a safe place, only echoes were heard on the boards, like in Cyprus and Israel. I want to notice how people came together to help others. I haven’t seen this anywhere else. I want to pay a huge tribute, express admiration for the unity of how people help each other. And visitors too. It costs a lot. Yes, trouble happens, but the important thing is how people react to it and not be indifferent,” said the former participant of the reality show.

The couple collected humanitarian aid and took it in their car to a special place. Daria noted that people work well together, everything happens quickly and clearly. The police regulate the traffic so that there are no jams, volunteers sort things.

“Many volunteers help, there is a blood donation point. A lot of people are responding quickly, packing food and clothes,” said the mother of two sons.

The social media star and her husband unloaded the bags and volunteers immediately took them away. Daria only had time to tell where things were for children and where for adults. “You drive up, they pick up all the packages, quickly wrap them up and load them into the trucks,” said Daria.

At least 5,894 people are currently reported to have died and 34,810 have been injured as a result of the earthquake. More than 70 countries have sent rescue teams and humanitarian aid.

Famous Turkish actors reported that their relatives were lying under the rubble of destroyed buildings and asked for help.

“Mrs. Universe” Elena Maksimova could not return to Russia due to the earthquake in Turkey. The winner of an international beauty pageant is stuck in Bulgaria.
