A 48-year-old former British police officer has pleaded guilty to 24 counts of rape. 12 women suffered from it. The crimes continued for 17 years while the police missed nine chances to stop the rapist. It’s a total of 85 episodes. Carrick was listed as the most dangerous sex maniac in the UK.

The serial rapist was dressed in a dark suit, white shirt and tie as he appeared in the dock before a packed courtroom for the hearing. It was on TV. At the time of sentencing, Judge Cheema-Grubb said Carrick exercised a “monstrous advantage” over his victims, with whom he had a “cruel, controlling and coercive relationship”.

She told the maniac that he “acted like he was untouchable”. The judge assured it was a spectacular fall for a man charged with upholding the law. According to her, he lost his freedom, job and position. After the sentencing, Home Secretary Swella Braverman described his crimes as a “scar on the police”.

During a two-day sentencing hearing, the court heard details of some of Carrick’s horrific crimes, including how he sent one of his victims a photograph of himself holding a police gun and captioned it: “Remember I’m the boss”. Victims’ statements were read.

One of the women confessed that she was repeatedly raped by Carrick, it happened at night. The perpetrator put the gun to her head and wrapped his arms around her neck. David bragged to the victim that he was the safest person he could have, he was a police officer. Carrick stated as he led the girl to her own apartment.

Another victim assured that she was convinced of the man’s inviolability. She believed they wouldn’t believe her if she turned him in. “He was a policeman, he was the law, he owned me,” the Brit said. Carrick mocked the victims. According to the testimony, he raped them in the shower, pulled their hair, beat them with a belt and used sex toys.

Photos have been released showing the under-stairs cupboard where the sex monster locked one woman for punishment in the nude, the black whip he used and security cameras to spy on the victims.

“Behind a public display of decency and credibility, you monstrously abused women. You brazenly raped and sexually assaulted several women, some very brutally, and acted as if you were untouchable. You were brave and at times ruthless and you hoped that no victim would overcome the shame and fear and report on you. But you were exposed by 12 women,” the Daily Mail quoted the judge as saying.
