The performer of the hit “My Clear Days” is the artistic director of the national project of the patriotic song “Rodniki”. The Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives allocated a large amount of 17 million rubles for the development of this project.

Gazmanov is convinced that everyone needs patriotic songs. “We categorically lack uplifting songs, well, how much of this charm? And now all people see it and it is necessary for the whole country. But music channels, music programs, radio stations are so sharpened that those who write this content have practically no opportunity to show it,” said Oleg Mikhailovich.

The grant card states that among the tasks of the Rodniki project are the creation of a database of patriotic songs of project participants, the implementation of a competitive selection of the best songs by jury members, the organization of a celebratory concert and the organization of audience voting on winners.

“The song should be useful to the country and people, multiply good, be a continuation of our national culture, our national code should be visible in the song,” said artistic director Rodnikov.

According to the terms of the grant, the project must be completed by the end of September. Several songs are already listed on Rodnikov’s website: “The Lord Thinks Russian Today!”, “To Women in the Hospital”, “Crimea with Russia in the Heart Forever”, “NATO, No”, “Russian Girls”, “Born Mother of Russia” and others .

It has already been revealed that Oleg Mikhailovich has not been able to get to his apartment in Jurmala for eight years due to the ban on entering Latvia. The singer said that he bought the apartment as a gift for his wife and now he does not know what to do with them.
