A few years ago, when Fedor was a little more talkative in an interview, he admitted that a tattoo is not just a beautiful drawing for him. Each of the pinned images and hieroglyphs has a specific meaning.
So the director has a cross on his back, a pattern (believed to be a talisman) surrounding his right shoulder.
Fedor also has a tattoo with the names of older children, to which perhaps the name of the youngest, born Paulina Andreeva, was added, as well as the name of Svetlana’s ex-wife on his left forearm (we do not know the fate of this tattoo, but most likely the director either brought it or cut it off).
Bondarchuk’s tattoo on his left shoulder is dedicated to the ancient Mayans and is called the Yellow Warrior. According to the beliefs of these people, this symbol gives the wearer strength and self-confidence.
It is true that the tattoo on both shoulders has recently undergone changes. Added new patterns, inscriptions. What they mean now, we can only guess – they don’t talk so frankly about their personal life.
