How Natalya Sedykh has changed over the years - from Morozko to today

In 1964, the Soviet fairy tale “Morozko” was published, which became a cult. The film made 15-year-old Natalya Sedykh a real star.

Of course, a charming smile, a sculpted figure and an incredible voice promised the young actress that she would continue to play only beautiful princesses. So she played the role of Ninetta in the movie “Love for three oranges” and Alyonushka in the movie “Fire, water and … copper pipes”.

The success was stunning, but Natalya preferred cinema to ballet. She was accepted into the troupe of the Bolshoi Theater, where she danced with Maya Plisetskaya and Maris Liepa.

Natalya admitted that she carefully took care of herself in order to preserve her beauty and youth, but she did not resort to beauty injections.

Sedykh was married only once: she lived for 10 years in a marriage with composer Viktor Lebedev, to whom she gave birth to a son, Alexei, in 1981. As the spouses said, the union fell apart due to living in different cities and the inability to see each other.

In the nineties, Natalia returned to cinema. But they were rare pictures – once every few years. For example, in 2010 she starred together with Sergey Shnurov in the film “Armistice”, and she next appeared on the screens only in 2021 – in the film “You can’t stop dancing”.

Despite her respectable age, Natalya Sedykh remains a sought-after actress whose life the country follows with interest.
