Rose van Rijn is a young social media star from the Netherlands. Born in 2001, Rose became obsessed with 70s style as a teenager when she started listening to the music of ABBA.

In her first posts, the girl copied the Australian actress and singer Olivia Newton-John, the star of the cult film Grease. The heroine Olivia, beloved by filmmaker John Travolta, inspired her image for an entire generation.

However, Rose really became famous in 2021 when she shared a video on TikTok about styling her hair using a vintage Remington hair dryer brush. However, it wasn’t about the device at all – the Dutch managed to reproduce Princess Diana’s hairstyle!

Rose continued to experiment and soon achieved amazing success. The external similarity of the girl with Lady Dee also played a role in the success, and, of course, her talent as a stylist.

At the recent celebration of the 70th anniversary of the reign of Elizabeth II. van Rijn in the guise of the Princess of Wales roamed the streets of Amsterdam and literally drove passers-by crazy.
Locals and tourists alike screamed in surprise as they were certain that the reincarnation of Lady Di was coming their way!

Still, it’s a good thing that Rose van Rijn hasn’t thought of going to London – at least not yet. It is impossible to predict what effect the appearance of a live copy of Princess Diana in the capital of Great Britain would have in the midst of celebrations in honor of the anniversary of Her Majesty’s reign.
