The first season of The Last Hero was released in 2001. The host was Sergey Bodrov, who was in charge of the fight of 16 people for a place under the sun. As a result, the winner was a customs officer from the city of Kursk – 26-year-old Sergey Odintsov. He was able to retain the favor of his opponents and win the love of the audience.

Sergey spent the winnings on an apartment in his native Kursk. Taking advantage of the popularity, he became a representative and in 2004 consolidated his fame by participating in the fifth season of The Last Hero. This time, however, he failed to win.
Three years later, Sergei again became the hero of the news, only now on a criminal occasion. The man drove into the oncoming lane and accidentally ran into a traffic policeman who was trying to stop him. In court, Odintsov pleaded guilty and received a year of probation.

It is known that Sergei divorced his first wife and after a while remarried. He is raising a son, Arseny, with his second wife.

He is a multifaceted personality, so today Odintsov works as a boxing and kickboxing trainer and makes custom wooden products. The parliamentary past is over – mainly because the winner of reality really likes to shake his fists.

In 2021, Odintsov was supposed to participate in The Last Hero for the third time, but had to be removed due to the criminal proceedings against the man. It turned out that Sergei beat up a neighbor who asked him not to make noise after midnight. The victim was diagnosed with a craniocerebral injury and a metatarsal fracture. The man also lost a front tooth.
