The disgraced British royal couple have made new claims in the six-part Netflix documentary Harry and Meghan. Palace sources said the Princess of Wales expected attacks from Meghan Markle, but the revelation of her husband’s younger brother shocked her.
“Kate feels hurt and betrayed that Harry did this to her too, especially since they used to be so close,” said an insider close to Kate Middleton.
Prince William’s reaction to the streak was more subdued. He has no intention of entering into an open confrontation with Harry and his wife. “The Prince of Wales has no plans to tell his side of the story or openly seek revenge. He maintains his dignity and continues his work,” the source said.
At the same time, representatives of the palace claim that Kate and William have not watched the series, although they are of course aware of the Dukes of Sussex’s claims made in it. “William and Kate’s aides have told them about the show, but don’t expect the couple to sit down in their cottage with a bowl of popcorn to tune in,” a couple insider said.

Harry admitted that his departure from the UK with Meghan had “put a wedge” in his relationship with William.

Meghan Markle tried to avoid open accusations of her brother-in-law. “This is your brother! I won’t say anything about your brother, but it’s so obvious – he approved this statement,” the former royal addressed her husband.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will step down from the position of the royal family in January 2020. Now the Dukes of Sussex live in their estate in Montecito, California with two children – 3-year-old Archie and one-year-old Lilibet.
