The man didn’t have to invent a name: the British press did it for him. Miss World is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2021! And who was the first winner?

Miss World 1951 Kiki Håkansson (Sweden)

“Miss World” in the same year 1951 was 22-year-old Swedish Kerstin (Kiki) Hokansson. As a prize, she received a check for £1,000, a necklace and the opportunity to appear on the pages of the tabloids, which she was happy to take advantage of.

Beauty, isn’t it?
