“Twilight” brought Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson not only multimillion-dollar fees, but also worldwide fame, which secured them roles in the most brilliant projects to this day.
However, few people know that at first, the author of vampire books Stephenie Meyer saw only Emily Browning in the form of Bella Swan. You may recognize this Australian actress from Lemony Snicket: 33 Unfortunate Things.
Then, before filming began, Stephanie only talked about Emily, but the actress herself decided to turn down the offer. As it turned out, later Browning did not regret her decision, because at this particular time in her life she did not want the popularity that fell to Stewart.
According to Emily, she didn’t really see herself as a vampire girlfriend and also generally felt tired of her acting career.
Today, however, this rejection took revenge on the actress. Interest in work has returned, but valuable suggestions for filming have not. While Kristen Stewart’s name is on everyone’s lips, Emily Browning is known only to devoted fans. But let’s hope the situation improves.
