Then and Now: How Leonardo DiCaprio’s Mom Has Changed

Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio was born on November 11, 1974 in Los Angeles to comic book writer George DiCaprio and court clerk Irmelin Indenbirken. Parents divorced when Leo was just a year old, and the boy stayed with his mother.

Obviously, DiCaprio went to his mother. He also owes it to her for his brilliantly developing career. Irmelin noticed her son’s talent from an early age and contributed to his development. She had to work hard, but she managed to take her son to auditions.

When Leo decided to drop out of school to pursue his acting career and bring more money into the house, she resisted for a long time, but her son insisted and she gave in and tried to respect and support his decision.

Which he still does today. DiCaprio is very close to his mother – they often attend social events together, in an interview he also thanks his parents for their endless care and love.

In 2023, Irmelin will celebrate its 80th anniversary. I would like to note that she looks great and we are sure that she has hardly any global regrets in her life. Perhaps only about the absence of grandchildren at Lev.
