“He Mocking!”: The Story of Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood’s Strange Relationship

The couple’s relationship was unstable: they broke up this year, but then started dating again.

The couple decided to call off the engagement. Wood noted that they remained friends and she still loves Manson.

In 2012, the actress married Jamie Bell and gave birth to a son, after which they separated. Manson secretly married Lindsey Usich in 2020.

I couldn’t stop the violence and I was too helpless to leave.”

The musician was asked what he thought about the words of Evan Rachel Wood, who did not name the perpetrator. Instead of answering, Manson ended the conversation. Two months later, he dismissed the second question and refused to comment.

Evan Rachel Wood has openly accused Manson of violence during their relationship. She was supported by four other women who experienced the coldness of the musician’s mood: “My perpetrator’s name is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson. He started courting me when I was a teenager and abused me horribly for years… I point to this terrifying person… I stand with other victims who will no longer remain silent.’

After this statement, Loma Vista Recordings, which released the singer’s last two albums, refused to continue working with Marilyn Manson. Scenes with Manson were removed from the third season of American Gods, and production of the Kaleidoscope of Horrors series featuring the musician was terminated.

Manson on his Instagram (the social network is recognized as extremist and banned on the territory of the Russian Federation) responded with a harsh rebuke: “My art and my life have long attracted such conversations. But all recent statements about me are monstrous distortions of reality. My personal relationships have always been fully aligned with my like-minded partners. Regardless of how and why others now choose to twist the past, it is true.”

How this story will end and how justified the accusations of Wood, who remained silent for so many years after the breakup, are not yet clear.
