“The chances are close to zero”: Razin lost the lawsuit with the late Shatunov and lost the hits “Tender May”

For many years, Razin tried to ban Yuri Shatunov from playing in the hit music group. The Stavropol court ruled in favor of Yuri in mid-June. The documents that allegedly confirmed Andrea’s rights to the songs were called forgeries by the judges. Razin tried to prove that the composer of “Tender May” Sergey Kuznetsov transferred the rights to the compositions to him. Kuznetsov also died.

The performer of the hit “White Roses” did not celebrate the victory for long: he died in court two weeks after the victory. People close to Shatunov claimed that the endless lawsuits crippled his health.

After the death of the singer, the producer, who moved to the USA, continued to fight for songs. Razin filed a cassation complaint against Yuri’s heirs. However, the Court of Cassation decided the same and did not comply with the manufacturer’s complaint.

“If you translate the terminology into common language, then Razin was defeated today. Yes, he can file a complaint with the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. But his chances there are close to zero. “In addition, all of Razin’s agreements with the rights to the songs of composer Sergey Kuznetsov, including foreign persons from “enemy countries”, are invalid,” the lawyers of Yuri Shatunov’s family told AiF.
