Prince William thinks Queen Camilla is not his children’s grandmother – Here are her names George, Charlotte and Louis

Royal expert and biographer Angela Levin has comfortably completed her book Camille: From Outcast to Queen Consort. As you may have guessed, this is a biography of Camilla Parker Bowles, who became the new queen consort of Great Britain.

Excerpts from the new work have already appeared on the website, and the biggest response was the information that Prince William is categorically against his three children calling his father’s wife grandmother. This does not mean that William and his wife Kate have a bad relationship with Camilla – on the contrary, she has long been part of the family and does not seem like a bad stepmother or a malicious mother-in-law at all.

William is grateful to Camille for making Charles III. But he is firm in his belief – George, Charlotte and Louis have two grandfathers and one grandmother, no “non-step” grandmothers count in this scheme.

As Angela Levy writes, the Queen has an easy nature and a certain flexibility of character. She would never think of arguing with her husband’s son or proving something to him, moreover, she has up to five grandchildren, the children of her daughter Lola and son Tom. By the way, with Charles III. they have a relatively warm relationship – they call him “ompa” because they also have an “official” grandfather, Camilla’s first husband.

George, Charlotte and Louis also came up with a cute nickname for Camilla. William’s children call the Queen Consort… “eider”. And they have a special name in store for their own grandfather: the grandchildren call Charles-Karl “Grandpa Wales”. Interestingly, now that their grandfather has become king and their father William has been given the title of Prince of Wales, Charles III will become. “England’s grandfather”?
