“Even my husband didn’t help me!”: Meghan Markle failed the British citizenship test

After getting engaged to Prince Harry, the Suits star planned to settle in the UK. Megan became interested in obtaining a second citizenship.

The Duchess had the right to start this procedure in November 2020, after three years in the country. The former American actress started preparing for the test on the eve of the wedding. Markle admitted that she found the questions too difficult.

“This citizenship test is so hard. I was preparing for it and I remember thinking, “Oh, my God,” Megan opened up.

The native of Los Angeles asked for the help of her chosen one, who was born and raised in the United Kingdom and knows the traditions well. But sometimes even Prince Harry was helpless. “I asked my husband, ‘Do you know that?’ And this? “He said something like, ‘I have no idea,'” Markle continued.

The Duchess shared the revelation on a new episode of the Archetypes podcast with Canadian Prime Minister Sophie Trudeau’s wife, actress Pamela Adlon and comedian Sam Jay. Pamela admitted that she had obtained British citizenship two years ago and had not experienced such difficulties.

“I think they made it difficult for you,” Adlon joked. “Think?” Megan replied. “Yes, it looked like they were actually going to close the curtain on this case,” Pamela was quoted as saying by the Mirror, referring to the release of the podcast.

It is also known that last year Megan finally abandoned the idea of getting a British passport. The Duchess with her husband and two children are building a life in Montecito.

Royal experts believe Meghan is controlling her husband. Prince Harry became emotionally dependent on his wife.

Markle has deceived the hopes of Elizabeth II. The duchess was disingenuous with the royal family.
