The movie “Pretty Woman” starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere is already more than 30 years old, but it remains not only popular, but has long been classified as a cult film!
Few people know that Pretty Woman was originally called $3000. This is the amount Vivien received during the week from her casual acquaintance Edward Lewis. Then the movie got renamed – and they did it right!
There was a lot of improvisation in the film. For example, Richard Gere actually played the piano himself. But that’s not all: he played a role he composed himself!
However, we want to tell you one funny moment from the filming: in the end, pure improvisation became part of the film.
We’re talking about the scene where Edward snaps the necklace case, slightly pinching Vivienne’s fingers, scaring her. This was not written in the script: so Richard Gere decided to play a trick on Julia Roberts.
