How Emmanuelle Beart looked in her first film – a French erotic melodrama

The bear was born into a difficult family. Her father, Guy Beard, was a famous composer and chansonist, and her mother, Genevieve Galea, was a model. However, it was not the family’s creative atmosphere that inspired the young Emmanuelle. She decided to become an actress when she first saw a film with Romy Schneider on the screen – the future star was then only 13 years old. Later, Bear began taking acting lessons and made her film debut at the age of 20, starring in the erotic melodrama First Desires, about three young girls who discover the sensuality of love and experience their first attraction to a man.

A young, charming, charming and funny bear in the French style became a real decoration of the film. And one can only guess what it was like for the actress to approach a film with a sexual theme.

The fact is that it was only at the age of 60 that Emmanuelle decided to tell a terrible story from her childhood. For four years, between the ages of 10 and 14, she was regularly abused by a member of her family.

“Because my father, mother and my friends didn’t notice, you could do it over and over again and you did it. Within four years”– Bear addressed her abuser in the documentary “Noisy Silence”, dedicated to women who have been subjected to violence.

According to Bear, her grandmother saved her in the end. Emmanuelle did not name her perpetrator, only specifying that it was not her father.
