A runaway daughter and failed marriages: the loneliness of the stars Larisa Udovichenko

He was soon orphaned

Larisa Udovichenko was born on April 29, 1955 in Vienna, where her father, military doctor Ivan Nikonovich Udovichenko, was working at the time. The family history of the future artist was typical for those years: Larisa’s mother, a beautiful Petersburger named Muza, Ivan Nikonovich met during the war years on the path of life. The bulging feelings eventually led to the military doctor leaving his first family: his wife and two sons. Then the muse also had to sacrifice herself for love: she, a student of the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Film, ended her dream of becoming an actress and devoted her whole life to her husband.

Well, the Muse’s ambitions were finally realized through her daughter. As if absorbing the desire for the stage with mother’s milk, Larisa performed art from a young age and already at the age of 15 made her debut in the short film “Happy Kukushkin” directed by Alexander Pavlovsky. Before graduating from school, Udovichenko managed to act in several other films, so she came to VGIK as an artist with experience. Tamara Makarova and Sergej Gerasimov, who completed the course, praised the applicants. Bright student daily life began, which was, of course, a continuous celebration of creativity and artistic search. In the same years, Karen Shakhnazarov, Nikolai Burlyaev, Pavel Chukhrai, future masters of Russian cinematography, studied at the Institute of Cinematography.

Unfortunately, this period full of hope and joy was overshadowed by Udovicenko’s personal losses. When she was in third grade, her mother died of cancer at the age of 50. Udovichenko’s father died seven years later.

She chose the role of Manka

The role of the walking Manka in Stanislav Govorukhin’s crime drama “The meeting place cannot be changed” became one of the most striking and memorable in Udovichenko’s career. It was thanks to the image of this characteristic heroine that real fame and recognition came to the actress. Larisa played this role just three years after graduating from VGIK.

But this work required a certain courage from the actress. Actors were a little afraid of provocative roles and “anti-Soviet” images – after all, it can become a stigma. And here the aspiring actress needs to embody the role of a girl of easy virtue – and yet she has a whole career ahead of her! And yet Udovichenko made up his mind. And not only did she decide, but because of Manca she refused the role of a positive heroine – the policewoman Sinichkina. In the end, however, Udovichenko considered the image dull and herself suggested that Govorukhin take her for the role of Manka. The director was taken aback but agreed. And I didn’t guess. Udovichenko was inimitable, she surprised everyone with her mastery of disguise and made Manka one of the most characteristic images of the entire film.

By the way, the note about how to spell the word “bond” was also invented by Udovichenko herself, who improvised on the set.

Three failed marriages

Udovichenko was pretty and extremely charming, so it’s no wonder she always had plenty of fans. The actress was married three times – and divorced the same number of times. Unfortunately, Larisa never found true love. However, she admitted that she often fell in love.

“Who have I not loved! And Mikhail Boyarsky and Sergei Shakurov and Nikita Dzhigurda, Nikolai Eremenko and Viktor Stepanov. In a word, I cannot imagine myself as an actress and as a woman without love.

For the first time, Udovichenko got married while still a student – and it was a fictitious marriage. Larisa, who came to Moscow from Odessa, needed a residence permit to stay in the capital. She did not leave everything to chance and took matters into her own hands. She approached Alexander Pankratov, a director friend, and offered to marry her. The young man, who already liked Larisa, agreed. True, as he later admitted, he took this marriage seriously. People around also hoped that Larisa would fall in love with Alexander, but family life did not work out.

The second husband of the actress was director Andrey Eshpay. But it didn’t work here either. As they said, family life was destroyed by her husband’s jealousy – at that time, Larisa’s career was developing rapidly, fans did not give her a pass, and they even realized how infatuated Udovichenko herself was in her screen partners … One can imagine that Eshpay’s the nerves could not stand it.

In 1987, Udovichenko remarried businessman Gennady Bolgarin. This marriage was the longest in the biography of the actress – she lived with her husband for 13 years. With him, Larisa also partially repeated the fate of her own mother – the man was married, but for the sake of spectacular beauty he left his family and child.

In the same marriage, Udovichenko first became a mother – her only daughter Maria was born. It seemed that the actress had finally found harmony and a warm home. But the idyll was poisoned by her husband’s addiction to gambling.

On this Udovichenko completed her attempts to find family happiness.

“Happy in profession, not in life. Thank goodness the profession makes up for it.

This is what the actress says about herself.

stranger’s daughter

Udovičenko’s soul aches for her only daughter Máša. The girl was never found in her life. At first she tried to become an actress, but quickly realized that it was not for her. After that, she received an economic education, but also lost interest in the profession. Masha’s new goal was the world of fashion and then, when Maria failed there, directing. To realize herself in this direction, she went to Italy. Either to make it easier for foreigners to pronounce her name, or because she wanted to separate herself from her mother’s fame and the inevitable comparisons, Maria changed her surname to Milusha.

In 2016, daughter Udovičenko met her love – musician Francesco Criuscoli in Italy. Two years later they were married. However, it is said that the marriage has already broken up – Netizens noticed that Maria no longer publishes photos together and does not mention her husband.

Udovichenko is worried about her daughter, because she has not found herself in the profession – Maria’s directorial achievements are still limited to a short film. Udovičenko, who is used to pampering and providing for his daughter, does not bother her with moralizing.

“He lives the way he wants” ” says the actress.

She herself must seek salvation from loneliness in the profession. Fortunately, Udovichenko has been shooting a lot again in recent years.
