Noy Shufutinsky was born into the family of Mikhail Shufutinsky’s youngest son Andrea and African-American Brandi in the USA. Born into a mixed family, the young man was raised with respect for the different cultures and roots of his ancestors, but Judaism played a special role in his life. The boy attended the synagogue from childhood, while he, as a black Jew, sometimes had to deal with double racism.
As Noah grew up, he became interested in hip-hop and rap – perhaps his grandfather’s musicality and African-American roots played a role. Today he performs under the pseudonym Westside Gravy.
23-year-old Noah made a decision not only about his profession, but also about his personal life. His fiancee is Ahuve Mahgereft and she is a well-known blogger from Israel. But the couple met in the USA at the Jewish Center. In the spring of 2023, Noah proposed to his beloved, but they married in early autumn. The newlyweds plan to live in Israel.
