The forty-eight-year-old Oscar-winning actress appeared in public in New York. Angelina and her adopted son Pax Jolie-Pitt were filmed by the paparazzi as they left the hotel. The movie star donned a black cape, which she paired with a pair of black ballet flats. Brad Pitt’s ex-wife completed the look with black-rimmed sunglasses.

A part of a long dress tied at the waist with a belt peeked out from under Jolie’s outerwear. Her hair was swept to one side, and the star applied light make-up to her face. Angelina was holding a clutch in her hands.

Her 19-year-old son looked relaxed in a long-sleeved salmon shirt and black trousers. He completed the look with a pair of white and pink sneakers and wore a long silver pendant chain around his neck. Adopted in 2007, Pax took after his mother.

Angelina is currently busy building her new label, Atelier Jolie, in Manhattan. The movie star plans to open a business in a building that once belonged to Andy Warhol. It is also the last place where Jean-Michel Basquiat lived and worked. The Golden Globe winner described the atelier as a “global family” of underrepresented tailors who work with recycled clothing.

“We hope to create a community of creativity and inspiration, regardless of socioeconomic status,” the artist said. According to her, it will be a place where creatives can collaborate with an experienced and diverse family of experienced tailors, but also a place for entertainment. The property was listed for sale at $60,000 per month with a minimum lease term of 10 years.

The 6,600-square-foot building has been on the market since November. The estate agent said Jolie is very hands-on in closing the deal – she visited the premises several times over six months.

Insiders talked about the legal dispute between Angelina and Pitt over their Chateau Miraval winery, which they acquired together in 2008. The 60-year-old actor accused Jolie of selling her part of the winery with the intention of intentionally causing harm by closing the deal with a complete stranger, violating their agreement, reports the Daily Mail.
