“Difficult moment”: Diana Gurtskaya for the first time after the funeral of her husband addressed the viewers of Channel One on video 07/09/2023, 18:00

Today, Channel One aired the final edition of the music project. Eight star families competed for the victory. In ten shows, they aroused positive emotions in the public with their creativity.

The ninth duo ended their participation in the show due to tragedy – on May 20, Diana Gurtskaya lost her husband, the father of her son Konstantin. Petr Kucherenko fell ill on the plane on which the Russian delegation was returning from a business trip to Cuba. The plane landed at the airport of the city of Mineralnye Vody, but doctors could not save the life of the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

The best duet was determined according to the results of audience voting on the Odnoklassniki social network and in interactive broadcasts on TVs with the HbbTV function, on the website and in First Channel applications. These artists were Diana Gurtskaya and her son Konstantin, who reached 32%.

“For well-known and understandable reasons, they are not with us today. But they are in contact with us, ”announced the host of the show Alexander Oleshko.

Then a video with Diana and her son appeared on the air. They were sitting at a wooden table in black. Konstantin held his mother’s hand.

“Good evening to all viewers of Channel One,” said Gurtskaya. – Due to our great family loss, we could not continue participating in the project. But we felt your support even from a distance. For us and Kostya, it is especially pleasant and important that our performance was appreciated by the audience. Thank you for supporting us at such a difficult time for our family.”

Peter Kucherenko’s son added only a few words. “Thank you all very much,” Konstantin said.

After eight episodes, Diana Gurtskaya and her son were among the leaders of the show – they did not lose a single point. Farewell to the singer’s husband took place in the Epiphany Cathedral in Yelokhovo. Pyotr Kucherenko was buried at the Troekurovsky Cemetery in Moscow.

The People’s Artist of Russia takes this loss very hard. The singer does not give interviews and does not appear in public after the funeral. The video, shown by Channel One today, was Diana’s first on-screen appearance since the funeral.
