The song “Barbie Girl” by Aqua was released back in 1997 – and it seems to have only gotten more popular since then. In the “zero” bright pink clip with a dollhouse, he was constantly on the air of music channels. After that, the track successfully migrated to TikTok – and this summer it became the soundtrack to the most anticipated movie “Barbie”.

“Barbie Girl” really made a little known band from Denmark famous and rich. Aqua is still touring with this song. Even though today Lene Nystrom has moved far away from the “Barbie girl” image from the old clip.

Before Lene became a singer, she served in the guards and studied at bodyguard courses. Since then, the sport has been a constant presence in her life – allowing her to wear the same daring stage outfits as she did a quarter of a century ago.
