On stage, Madonna became famous for her provocative stunts, playful behavior and deliberate sexuality.
As it turned out, she liked to play pranks, even though she was still unknown to anyone. Madonna moved to New York in 1978 hoping to pursue a career in entertainment. But at the beginning of her journey, she faced financial difficulties and had to rely on odd jobs to make ends meet.
At some point, the future queen of pop got a job at a donut shop. However, she only lasted about a week there. Madonna was fired for playing with a jelly machine and even spilled water on a customer. According to the singer, her colleagues did not like her also because she “didn’t take her work seriously.”
Interestingly, she has maintained her reputation as a difficult person to work with on stage. But now Madonna’s employees complain not about her frivolity, but on the contrary about her high demands. So one of the dancers of the pop diva said that the singer spends grueling rehearsals until everything is perfect, and she puts pressure on the dancers and expects good performances.
