Christina’s path to becoming an artist was not smooth: she had to overcome bumps and fly to the side of the road. And it’s not even a metaphor. Babushkina’s career has already hung in the balance once, and the reason was again difficulties on the road – such a bad fate.

In her native Irkutsk, Christina entered a theater school, but in the second year she was expelled for incompetence! The student got into a serious accident and spent two years in a hospital bed.

Despite the “verdict” of doctors and teachers, she did not want to give up and went to Moscow to enter the theater universities of the capital. And she got into the Moscow Art Theater School for Oleg Tabakov’s course.

Babushkina began filming in 2001. The first work in her filmography was a small role in the TV series “Truckers”, which was popular at that time. On the screen, the young actress appeared in a very spectacular image, but then she was more often offered the role of a simpleton – no bolder makeup, only curlers!
