These two Teslas must achieve exorbitant sales figures

During the Annual General Meeting, the CEO gave an outlook on two upcoming models. Together, the cars must ensure 5 million sales per year. And that’s an extreme amount given that the manufacturer delivered a total of 1.3 million cars last year.

Two models should ensure 5 million sales

The two Teslas responsible for the immense sales figures have not yet been named. Elon Musk also keeps a low profile on the specifications. The sales figure of 5 million is an estimate by the Tesla CEO.

Although they are two models, they can also be two facelifts of existing electric cars, such as the Model 3 and the Model Y. In fact, one of the teasers bears a striking resemblance to the Model Y.

A cheap Tesla Model 2

Elon Musk does not yet know exactly what Tesla is up to. It is certain that these models must deliver gigantic sales figures. With gigantic sales figures, one quickly thinks of affordable models. And there have been several rumors about it.

Elon Musk, for example, previously said something about a cheaper model that would cost just over 20 grand and outperform all sales numbers. Soon the name “Model 2” was being called out by fans and the media.

Tesla’s entry-level model is unlikely to be produced in a gigafactory. The production figures cannot be reached in such factories. China and Mexico would be attractive countries for the production of this electric vehicle.
