Some people are so rich they don’t know what to do with their money. Take this businessman for example. He bought Australia’s most expensive penthouse and put a McLaren Senna GTR in it on the side.
The penthouse is located in Melbourne, Australia on the 57th floor of an expensive apartment complex. A certain Adrian Portelli bought it for the equivalent of 24 million euros.
McLaren Senna GTR as a sculpture in the living room
Apparently he didn’t find his new home exclusive enough, because he bought a McLaren Senna GTR, the track version of the “normal” Senna, for 1.8 million dollars.

Not to drive it, but to look at it. Because he hired a team of eight people and a crane to lift the McLaren to the 57th floor, where the supercar will be placed as a kind of sculpture in the living room.
The McLaren will never leave the penthouse again
The apartment complex is still under construction. Once complete, getting the Senna GTR back out of the penthouse will be extremely difficult. Portelli believes the McLaren will spend the rest of its days there.

Non-road legal version of the Senna for track use
The McLaren Senna GTR is a non-road legal version of the Senna of which only 75 units were produced. It’s powered by a 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 825 horsepower. The GTR is intended for use on the racetrack.
