New Tesla Cybertruck spotted driving and looks different

Tesla fans have been eagerly awaiting the Cybertruck since 2019. The wait will be rewarded as the eccentric pick-up will be delivered very soon. The first models are now being spotted on the road, but they’re a bit disappointing.

So the expectations were high. The Tesla Cybertruck first appeared on the scene about four years ago. A visual promise was rolled onto the stage, backed by big words from CEO Elon Musk.

Offbeat design, both literally and figuratively

The pickup literally and figuratively had one nervous Drafts. The sheet metal should be made of dent and scratch-resistant steel, which should even stop a bullet. The latter would also apply to the windows, although one showing didn’t quite go to plan.

In addition, the Tesla Cybertruck has six seats. There is a folding seat between the front seats. Continuous LED strips are all the rage in the automotive world and the Cybertruck takes it a step further. On the front you will not find one, but two of these light strips.

Production version Tesla Cybertruck less futuristic

It is therefore not surprising that many car enthusiasts have been looking forward to Tesla’s peculiar pickup truck for some time. The Cybertruck is now being seen more and more on the street and suddenly looks a little less futuristic.

The pickup initially looked like a concept car. Such study models always have the typical concept appearance, because they do not have to adhere to simple rules such as the presence of mirrors and wipers. Ahead of the start of production later this year, the Tesla Cybertruck will see some changes.

Detachable mirrors

The Tesla Cybertruck spotted on the road also now has a wiper and mirrors, which we didn’t see when the car was launched. The triangular mirrors stay somewhat in line with the design, but the car still looks a little less flashy than previously shown versions. Tesla CEO Elon Musk explains on Twitter that the mirrors can be removed by the owner.

In the images that have surfaced on Reddit, the Tesla Cybertruck, which also has different wheels than when it was first introduced, has a slightly less sharply defined nose. However, this is difficult to verify due to the incidence of light. Until the first Tesla Cybertruck is delivered later this year, it remains a guess.
