Autovisie is always looking for used cars for enthusiasts and therefore searches the listings on the sales site Gaspedal.nl. This time we went in search of the cheapest McLaren and found it.

The British supercar was launched in 2011 and was built in a limited edition of just 600 units. It is the first car designed and produced by McLaren Automotive.

The cheapest McLaren in the Netherlands

We went looking for the cheapest McLaren to buy in the Netherlands and came across this MP4-12C for just under 138k. That’s not exactly cheap, of course, after all it remains a uniquely British supercar.

More power than on paper

Under the hood of the cheapest McLaren is a 3.8-liter V8 with two turbos. On paper the car is good for 600 hp and 600 Nm of torque. In practice, however, this is more. You can see how this works in the following video.

The British super sports car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 329 km/h. The performance is partly due to the low weight of 1,339 kilograms.

To save weight, the chassis is made entirely of carbon fiber. The Carbon MonoCell weighs only 80 kilograms and is based on a monocoque from Formula 1.

Cheapest McLaren used car

The cheapest McLaren you can buy in the Netherlands is therefore not that cheap. The new price was therefore over 275,000 euros. The car is from 2012 and was imported to the Netherlands in 2021. According to the odometer, he has just over 26,000 kilometers of experience. According to RDW information, the event has not had a valid TÜV since 2016.

Despite this, the car looks good in the photos. The ad does not reveal whether it has only been in a garage since 2016 or whether it was used as a racing car. Want to check out the cheapest McLaren? Then you have to travel to the seller in Erica, Drenthe.
