As a car enthusiast, you know the Car of the Year title. That year, the Jeep Avenger won the award. This choice is not the only car choice. There’s even an award focused on women’s car of the year.
The best women’s cars of 2023 were chosen from 59 candidates. The jury consists of 64 women from all over the world. They choose the best new cars based on their opinion and vision.
These are the six women’s cars of 2023
The best women’s cars are divided into six categories. So each class has its own winner.
1. Best City Car: Kia Niro
According to the female jury, the best city car of 2023 is the Kia Niro. You already know the name as one of the best selling cars in the Netherlands. Dries van den Elzen tells you all about the model in the video below.
2. Best Family SUV: Jeep Avenger
The Car of the Year 2023 is also Women’s Car of the Year. The brand’s first electric car wins twice!
3. Best Large Car: Citroën C5 X
With the C5 X, Citroën is trying to return to the segment that used to include the CX, XM, C5 and C6. In the “large car” class, the Frenchwoman still wins the award for the best women’s car of the year.
4. Best Large SUV: Nissan X-Trail
Although you may be wondering why the ‘big car’ and ‘big SUV’ classes were split in the poll, the division now includes the Nissan X-Trail. The big SUV has seven seats!
5. Best performing car: Audi RS3
Even if we think of Ferraris and Lamborghinis when we think of performance cars, the jury for the women’s car of the year chooses the Audi RS3.
6. Best 4×4: Ford Ranger
The ladies of the jury voted the Ford Ranger the best 4×4. No wonder, because the model is a very capable off-road vehicle. As a raptor, he’s also an extremely powerful off-road executioner!
