Why you don’t need a camper anymore when you drive a Dacia

Campers are incredibly popular. There have never been so many on license plates in the Netherlands. But mobile homes are also expensive. That’s why you should be happy if you drive a Dacia, because soon it will be available with a bed in the rear.

Dacia introduces a new trim level: Extreme. It is available for Spring, Sandero Stepway, Jogger and Duster. It’s not really new. The jogger is already for sale as an Extreme, but this variant is being replaced by the version now proposed.

Extreme equipment for Dacia models

What do you get when you order a Dacia Extreme trim? Copper-colored accents on the exterior, dark gray side stripes with contour line pattern and light-alloy wheels in black high-gloss.

There are also two new colors to choose from: Cedar Green for Stepway, Jogger and Duster and Slate Blue for Spring. Inside you will find new, dark gray upholstery. The copper-colored details and contour lines on the outside are reflected on the inside.

Jump extremes with more power

It doesn’t just stop at the visual decoration, at least at the Spring Extreme. It has a new 65 hp electric motor and a range of 220 kilometers. The regular spring still includes a 45-horsepower power source.

Dacia Sleep Pack with double bed in Jogger

The first option in the so-called InNature series is very nice: the Sleep Pack. Available on all trim levels of the Jogger, it lets you turn the trunk into a bedroom in minutes.

If you have a seven-seat version of the Jogger, you must first remove the third row of seats to install the Sleep Pack. It consists of a wooden double bed (1.90 meters by 1.30 meters) with a mattress. The whole thing weighs less than 50 kilos.

Add blackout curtains and sleep

If you want to hide the bed, simply pull the luggage compartment cover over it. The Sleep Pack will soon allow you to buy accessories like blackout curtains and a tent for Jogger’s back for more space.

The Sleep Pack comes to the Netherlands. The Dacia importer does not yet know how high the price is. In France it costs 1490 euros with a new jogger and 1790 euros if you buy the pack afterwards.
