Dive into the price list: NIO ET7 – is it now the turn of the Tesla Model S?

NIO debuted three models in the Netherlands late last year. This time we take a closer look at the top model, the NIO ET7, with a look at the price list.

Some brands start small, NIO debuts with three models. We’ve already taken a closer look at the ET5 and the EL7, now it’s time to take a closer look at the top model NIO ET7. NIO’s model range is remarkably closely based on the structure of Tesla’s model range. In addition, the ET7 positions itself as a direct competitor for the Tesla Model S. Do you want to know how you like the NIO? You can read about it here. View the price list and configurator now.

Technical data NOK ET7

The NIO ET7 is available with one drive variant, but you’ll never be short of power. Two electric motors ensure all-wheel drive and a system output of no less than 480 kW (653 hp). The torque is 850 Nm.

That’s enough for acceleration to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h. There are two battery variants to choose from: 75 or 100 kWh. These battery packs are good for a range of 445 or 580 km (WLTP).

Prices NOK ET7

NIO does not work with equipment variants, but only supplies the car with (almost) everything that comes with it. However, the entry price can vary greatly. In addition to the choice between the two battery variants, you also have the choice between renting or buying a battery. The starting price of the NIO ET7 is 72,900 euros, plus 169 euros per month for battery rental. If you opt for the larger battery, the starting price of the car remains the same and you pay 289 euros per month for battery rental.

If you prefer to buy the battery together with the car, the starting price is 84,900 euros for the 75 kWh variant and 93,900 euros for the 100 kWh variant. A big difference, but if you plan on keeping the car for a long time, buying it can be cheaper in the long run than renting it all the time. You are responsible for the consideration and calculation.

An advantage of battery rental is that you can swap the battery at any time at NIO’s unique changing stations. Then you can, for example, rent the smaller battery all year round and the larger one temporarily for vacation.

Equipment NOK ET7

As mentioned, there is only one full-featured version. Among other things, it has a swiveling trailer hitch, adaptive chassis with air suspension, Brembo brakes with colored brake calipers, full LED lighting, doors with soft-close function, a central 12.8-inch touchscreen for operating the extensive infotainment system, intelligent voice assistant NOMI, an advanced Dolby Atmos audio system and far-reaching driver assistance and safety systems.

exterior decoration

The body colors white, black and two shades of gray are included in the starting price. Anyone who prefers to have some color in their car life costs 1,680 euros extra. You then have a choice of two shades of blue, a greenish color and a sort of orange. There are also three rim variants to choose from. Aerodynamic 20-inch wheels or a multi-spoke design of the same size are available at no extra cost. 21-inch light-alloy wheels in partial carbon are available as an option for a surcharge of 2,600 euros.

interior design

There are three options for the interior: black with dark gray, black with white and black with “sand color”. All these variants have no additional costs. There is no material choice, you always get a sustainable interior with lots of Karuun, a recyclable rattan.

Lots of options

The separate options for the NIO ET7 consist of just three sets of winter tires in 19, 20 and 21 inches. These sets cost €2,500, €3,700 and €6,000 respectively, but they come with nice rims.
