Dive into the price list: Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, what does the EV cost?

Another Mercedes EQ model has been added: the EQE SUV. What has he? We’ll find out by looking at the price list.

Logically, the EQ program from Mercedes-Benz is constantly being expanded. It even becomes somewhat predictable. After the EQS came the “small version” EQE. Then the EQS SUV came in the “lifted version” and now there is also the EQE SUV in the “smaller version”. Also, enough has been written about these EQ models, so let’s get straight to the specs and pricing.

Drives Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV

The “standard model” EQE SUV 350 already has an output of 215 kW (292 hp) with drive on the rear wheels. The 350 is also available with 4Matic all-wheel drive. Then the engine output is the same, but the torque increases from 565 to 765 Nm, which also means a 0-100 sprint of 6.6 instead of 6.7 seconds.

Above the 350 is the 500 4Matic, which has a system output of 300 kW (408 hp) and a torque of 858 Nm and completes the 0-100 sprint in just 4.9 seconds. Still not impressed? Then opt for the AMG 43 4Matic, which offers 350 kW (476 hp) and 858 Nm and accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.

Depending on the version selected, the range of the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is 468 to 594 km (WLTP).

Prices

Of course everything has its price. With less than 91,950 euros in the bank account, you don’t have to go to the Mercedes dealer. The four-wheel drive version costs at least 99,089 euros, although you are also one step higher. The 500 4Matic is also one step higher and is available from 116,755 euros. At the top of the chain is the AMG 43 4Matic with a starting price of 130,791 euros. As an AMG, that’s a trim level in itself. In addition, the AMG Line can be combined with all other drive variants, the Luxury Line is only available for both 350s and the Business Line is only available as a 350 with rear-wheel drive.

Standard equipment Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV

At Mercedes-Benz, you never drive home in a bare car, so we stick to the real highlights when it comes to standard equipment. Diverse setting options with memory function, central 12.8-inch OLED display, digital 12.3-inch instrument panel, fingerprint scanner and extensive infotainment with Remote Services Premium (first three years free).

The higher equipment lines (whether optional or not) naturally offer even more luxury. Some of the most notable are navigation with instructions in augmented reality, a Burmester surround sound system, sound personalization, high-definition LED headlights “with more than 1 million pixels per headlight”, transparent hood (camera system lets you look through the hood) and rear axle steering.

Exterior paneling Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV

For our configuration we take the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV 500 4Matic. The AMG Line is selected as standard. In addition, there is the night package with extra tinted windows (908 euros). Next to body color. There are five to choose from for the selected version. Black is selected by default. Options at no extra cost are light grey, dark gray and dark blue. The factory color plain gray is also an option for a surcharge of 1,198 euros. We bet on blue.

The standard 21-inch light-alloy wheels can be exchanged for other 20- and 22-inch designs. See below. The smaller variant does not cost any extra, Mercedes-Benz charges 1,089 euros extra for the larger rims, for which you have to order the Airmatic air suspension for 2,200 euros. We stick with the standard rims.

Interior trim strips Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV

Mercedes-Benz offers many upholstery options for the interior. Black leather upholstery is standard, with Nappa leather and Artico leatherette options. Nappa leather costs at least 847 euros extra, artificial leather Artico is an option without extra charge. The color menu has all sorts of grays and blacks, but also some kind of light brown. Please note that in combination with some colors, seat heating and ventilation must also be ordered (932 euros). We actually prefer the black-grey Artico upholstery, which cannot be combined with the seat heating at all. Then black-grey nappa leather (847 euros). In addition, seat heating is mandatory again, but that’s what we wanted anyway.

Anthracite basswood moldings are standard for the rest of the interior. Optional are frames with 3D effect (242 euros), a light pattern with Mercedes stars (212 euros), walnut wood like on a yacht (605 euros), magnolia wood with Mercedes stars (605 euros) and carbon fiber (1,150 euros). With the latter, you also have to order the hyperscreen, so that you are around 10,000 euros further behind. Well, we’ll stick with the stock trim pieces. The center console can be supplied separately in a matching or completely different version. We opt for matching gloss black.

Packages and individual options

Then there are the packages and separate options for the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV. It would take too long to describe all the options here, so we’ll stick with the options we’ve chosen. For the packages, we rely on AMG Line Premium Plus (3,061 euros) with rear-axle steering, additional soundproofing and a head-up display, among other things.

We choose separate options for windscreen heating (702 euros), steering wheel heating (315 euros), heated rear seats (436 euros) and cabin air purification (544 euros). The selected version already had a panoramic glass roof as standard.

Build your own Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV
